‘Futurism’
Futurism in food involves artistic table decorations when the visuals are just as important as the flavours. It maximises the idea of ‘you eat with your eyes first’.

I created the table decorations with edible elements like the swede and asparagus pot, celeriac and asparagus pot and the bread rolls with the roses.

After the guests sat down we sprayed the room with thyme water so their nose was filled with the aroma of the herb. They also had a small bunch of thyme on the menus. When they touched it the smell marked the skin on their fingers.
They had two types of homemade butter with the sourdough. They were dressed with fresh herbs, one was salted and shaped as a mini Gugelhupf and the other one was seasoned with matcha powder.

The starter was heritage carrot, pesto, Parmesan crisp and blood orange jelly. This dish was super bright in the dark dining room. It was full of fresh flavours.

Main course was cod with mussels’ sauce, samphire, fondant potato with edible gold leaf and salt baked celeriac with black charcoal powder.

Persian-Jamaican Hen Party
The group wanted to honour the bride’s heritage with a dinner that reflects on both Persia and Jamaica. We created an authentic menu with Persian sharing starters and Jamaican main courses that included jerk chicken and ox cheek with rice and peas.

Hen Party Celebration
The theme of this occasion was ‘Palm Spring’. Colours of pink and green dominated the dining table that was closely designed with one the bridesmaids.

Al Fresco Hen Party Celebration
For this table décor the guests wanted large white roses, gypsophilas and lots of seasonal green foliage, we used tender oak branches, in the middle of the table.

Summer BBQ Tasting menu
Our guests were food and BBQ lovers, and we created an 8 course tasting menu where everything came from the grill and was served family style. To stay close to nature some of our flower bouquets only included edible herbs like lovage flower, curry plant and chamomile.
